From Therapist to Supervisor: Guiding the Guides with Heart, Science, and Integrity

From Therapist to Supervisor: Guiding the Guides with Heart, Science, and Integrity

Behind every great therapist is someone holding space for them - a mentor, a mirror, a fellow traveler in the art of healing. That’s the essence of clinical supervision. But when therapy touches trauma, supervision requires more than theoretical knowledge - it demands deep attunement, embodied presence, and a map of both the psyche and the nervous system.

If you're a practicing psychotherapist, psychologist, counselor, or coach looking to deepen your skills and prevent burnout while staying aligned with ethical, neurobiological, and humanistic foundations - you don’t have to walk this path alone.

What Is Clinical Supervision (and Why It Matters More Than Ever)?

Clinical supervision isn’t just about reviewing techniques or protocols. It’s about:

  • Sharpening your clinical insight
  • Unpacking countertransference and blind spots
  • Reflecting on ethical complexity with support
  • Integrating trauma-informed principles into your sessions
  • Building emotional resilience for long-term professional sustainability

Especially when working with trauma, dissociation, relational wounds, and developmental complexity, therapists need supervision that feels safe, non-judgmental, and growth-focused. A place where the therapist’s humanity is honored as much as their clinical performance.

📜 My Path as a Clinical Supervisor

I hold a 1.5-year specialization in Clinical Supervision through the International Institute of Postgraduate Education in Ukraine, certified by the Ministry of Education and Science.

I also bring over 15 years of real-world experience in psychotherapy, trauma work, and group facilitation. My approach combines:

  • Humanism and neurobiology
  • Trauma-sensitive and somatic perspectives
  • A systems-based lens grounded in the biopsychosocial-spiritual model
  • Contemporary and traditional knowledge, from interpersonal neurobiology to ancient collective wisdom

💡 Who I Supervise

I offer individual and group supervision for:

  • Early-career psychotherapists and psychologists
  • Coaches and counselors integrating trauma-informed work
  • Experienced professionals seeking deeper reflection and refinement
  • Supervisors-in-training
  • Facilitators of group therapy or systemic work
  • Those involved in psychedelic-assisted therapy, bodywork, or integrative methods

Sessions are available in Ukrainian, English, or bilingual format (Russian is an option as well for those who do not support war against Ukraine), online.

🌀 What You Can Expect

In our supervision space, you’ll find:

A structured yet emotionally safe environment
Support for clinical decision-making and case formulation
Explorations of ethical nuances and boundaries
Reflection on therapist’s inner responses and activation
Insights into trauma dynamics, dissociation, and somatic clues
Creative methods: imagery, metaphor, somatic awareness, systemic mapping

We work not only on the what of therapy, but the how and who - your presence, your process, your professional evolution.

Self-Check: Is Supervision with Me Right for You?

Ask yourself:

  1. Do I long for a reflective space that goes deeper than technique?
  2. Do I feel isolated or unsure when facing complex trauma dynamics?
  3. Do I want to refine my trauma-informed lens and somatic sensitivity?
  4. Am I ready to bring more of my own awareness and humanity into my work?
  5. Would I benefit from a warm, experienced guide who sees both the soul and the science?

If you said “yes” to more than two, supervision could be the missing piece.
